Sunset flower

I had just finished sending a photo of the Cottonwood Heights Police department being sworn in Tuesday. I wanted to try and find some kind of weather art for the paper and drove up on Wasatch BLVD. to look around, The sun began setting and I saw this. I like these, they are simple and beautiful.

New LDS Temple

I've been up in Twin Falls Idaho with the LDS Church News photographing the new temple there. Take a look at the slide show at the top right of the page.

The question was asked about getting photos of the celebration. Your best bet would be to contact the local leaders of the church and ask them.

This first photo is of Maria Vedales, of the Aztec dance group Ichantzinco Tlaloc. They were practicing at Liberty Park in preperation for the Hispanic Fiesta days.

The next two photos are for a story we are doing on the progress of the fighting Pit bulls that were taken from Michael Vick. The dogs are doing very well. I might post my Sound slides multimedia I did for it later.

Lightning

I was driving home from the office tonight and started see lightning strikes. I decided to go up high and see if I could get some shots. Here's a few of them.
It is just amazing to me the power of nature.
