Helicopter flight

I had an assignment to shoot aerials with KSL-TV from Chopper 5 of the oil spill clean up. We went up in the mountains looking for weather for their broadcast and this looked cool to me. I hope you like it.

Ronnie Lee Gardner Execution

We had kind of a tough assignment here in Utah this week, Ronnie Lee Gardner was executed by Firing squad. He chose this method and last night it was carried out.
I wasn't at the actual execution I was at a media gathering area and these are just a few images from the night.

I just saw a post from a friend and fellow photagrapher Trent Nelson, Trent was the pool photographer at the execution and has, to me an interesting story of the days leading up to and including the final day. If you are interested take a look.

Volunteers

Here is an image from a story I worked on a few days ago. I was shooting the Salvation Army volunteers as they served food to Salt Lake homeless.

Oil Spill

Yesterday an 8 in. oil pipe broke sending hundreds of Barrels into a creek in Salt Lake I was sent to Hogle Zoo to cover the cleaning of a bunch of water fowl that had oil on them. Take a look at the Papers' link to read the complete story with other photos from our staff.
